I live in Northern California with my husband & 2 boys. I have an overwhelming need to beautify my home. I have developed a desire to paint everything. Inspiration comes to me via any type of media, checking out friends' spaces, being nosy and going to open house tours even though I have no intention of buying a new home right now!
My home is small, but there is a lot of love inside. I have lots of ideas for each room as they continue to be improved! My greatest reward is when my husband or son says thanks for making it look better.
I intend to document my journeys into design, thrifting, and recycling what I already have. Peace to everyone!
I'm the lone girl in a house full of boys. I spend my time taking care of my 2 boys, my husband, my friends, my pets, and of course, myself.
I'm approaching the big 4-0 this year! It's both lovely & frightening at the same time. This past year I have been on quite a journey. I'm learning more about myself and I have returned to my faith. I find so much comfort and peace in prayer and worship.
Although I have a strong Christian faith, I am pretty liberal in my politics which makes for an interesting combination. I'm so pleased that our president reflects so many of my values, what an awesome change from the previous administration.
My blog is intended to be a place for me to put my thoughts down and make sense. I could care less if anyone reads it.
